IPWEA NSW Conference

Dr Emerson will be a guest speaker at the NSW State Conference held by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia. He will be speaking on the topic how to fund public infrastructure from a political and economic perspective. For more information and registration, click here.

The IPWEA NSW State conference typically draws delegates from all over New South Wales, metropolitan and regional areas are always represented. This conference is of particular relevance to Engineers who provide support within Local Government and attracts an audience consisting of Engineers, Public Works Managers, Group Managers, Supervisors, Technical Staff, Councillors, Directors, General Managers, other Public Works’ disciplines including Management utilities and State Government Departments.

The conference is a two day event, featuring an extensive conference program, including an exhibition space along with conference presentations, delivering concurrent streams of technical papers, peer presentations and workshop sessions. On Wednesday night, we open with the Welcome reception. The official opening of the IPWEA NSW Conference on Thursday morning, followed in the evening with the IPWEA NSW Engineering Excellence Awards are a key attraction.
